Assignment:
Fatima, 23 years old, wanted to be a successful woman entrepreneur after getting some experience in the market. She was doing job as an administrator in an academy to fund her studies and fulfill her living expenses. During her job, she always observed the activities of the head of the institution “how he makes decisions and monitors activities of the staff”. She knew that she would be someday a successful entrepreneur in the field of education.
Several months before her graduation, Fatima’s father and several friends asked her when she would be starting her job hunt. She explained that she was too busy finishing her studies and working at the academy. “After graduation in June, I’ll take a couple of months to unwind and then begin searching for a job. Besides, most business colleges don’t get serious about hiring recent graduates until after summer vacations when new session will be starting in the colleges.” Her father thought she was being a little laid back in her job-hunting approach.
After graduation, Fatima continued to work at the academy as she was doing earlier. One day, she went to meet her mentor, Professor Ahmed Raza, at his office. Professor Ahmed Raza asked Fatima how her job search was going. Fatima Replied, “I will be getting to work on my resume soon. The job market is fully (snow) saturated for the fresh candidates; I did not see any need to rush. Would it be okay to drop by your office to get some advice on my resume?”
Fatima met with Professor Ahmed Raza a week later. He gave Fatima a few suggestions about her resumes construction and also noted that her portfolio needed more work before she could present the portfolio to perspective employers. Copied from vu solutions dot com Fatima then decided to sharpen her portfolio before beginning her job search.
Fatima bought some newspapers to search the classified sections. She found a total of three relevant opening for administrators in business colleges and sent her resume and cover letter to the addresses indicated in the ads.
Two months passed and Fatima had not heard back from any of the business colleges to which she sent letters. Fatima’ next approach was to give a copy of her resume to his friend who was working as a lecturer in a business college in Lahore. The friend said that he would give the resume to the head of the institution personally.
